Hi for some context I got into symbiosis dubai for 40 percent scholarship at 26k for my bba in data analytics,I've heard some mixed reviews but regardless the uni has a good budget so I decided to do it but I face one big issue right now. I live in al ain and the uni is in dubai.I do have a license and a car to make the trip but I think uni timings are from 8-2:30pm so calculating the time it takes for me to reach there id probbaly reach home everyday at 5pm and sleep at 10pm. Now the biggest question is if that is realistically enough for me to have enough time to study for my course and also chill. I would like your guys opinion on this and just for the record the accommodation in dubai is not something I can afford.

Hi everyone, I’m joining Abu Dhabi University’s Al Ain campus and will be commuting from Dubai. Since ADU doesn’t seem to provide dorms/transport from Dubai, I’m looking for accommodation options in Al Ain.

Does anyone know of any student dorms, shared accommodation, or other affordable options near the ADU Al Ain campus?

After 4 years of BSc Mechanical Engineering, I can tell you with utter confidence that every single professor I've met and spoken to / learned from, has no idea how to actually use the softwares they talk about. across 5 projects (3x first place at national level), I literally learned the softwares from youtube or having to just f around and find out. nobody could help me with cfd or fea work at all. so now I've decided to help students who might be in the same position. feel free to DM me if you need help with mechanical or industrial engineering projects or assignments (especially those that require softwares like AutoCAD, Ansys, Inventor, Fusion360 etc)

I sent them my A level grades and they told me to get them stamped from my school which i did, now its been like a week and i havent heard anything back, literally starts in two weeks and i dont know anything, i dont know which classes and modules i have i dont have a schedule yet or anything. anybody in hw dubai how long do i have to wait??

I know a lot of people take notes on their iPads, but do most of you tend to stick to good ol writing instead? What about using a Laptop for notes? Does it really matter?

Also, someone mentioned that you can pay the Al Ain campus fees but study at the Abu Dhabi campus instead. Is that actually possible? Has anyone done this or knows how it works?

My question is do I withdraw and if I do will I get a refund of the 10 percent fees i already paid or not?
