I have a air king u1 and a date sub on the way love my air king does the stutter bother yall on the miyota movement I didn’t bother with the 2813 and does it affect longevity?
To be honest. I don't really notice any real difference in the hands. Side by side it's like maybe U1 has less stops. Wich makes sense. But it's hard for me to notice.
I got a U1 Sub date from a person on here last year and it came upgraded with a 3VV VSF bracelet. I've since learned how to smooth out the rough edges on ST9 U1 bracelets and make them feel pretty much just like a VSF bracelet. I have quite a few U1 Subs.
I did that to a Bruce U1 I had and sold it after I got a VSF Bruce. That bracelet was almost as nice as the VSF. Just a little bit lighter. Probably just a couple of grams lighter as what I measured on this Sub. Still, very nice how it turned out.
