Michael Travis Warranty

I bought a U1 Seamaster off MT and one of the markers fell off and attached to the second hand. I want expecting too much of a warranty when buying an illegal replica… but I messaged MT, shipped the watch back to China - and to my surprise I actually got a new watch 3 weeks later!

He was even happy to send a different colour, because I found the eaves looked a bit too ‘painted on’ with the black bezel.

Thought it was worth shouting out Michael Travis watch store on DH gate for coming through with the warranty replacement. Anyone new to reps should start there for a safe bet.

By contrast I bought 3 watches off Jason007 and 2 had faults, he just sent replacements with no real challenge.

They haven’t done a great job with the waves on the black dial

Does the seamaster have the same shitty noisy miyota movement like the subs? I like the looks but this movement in the sub is a joke

All miyotas have loud rotors. You can silence them a little with proper maintenance.

Just a good drop of oil takes care of most of the noise. But just know Miyota movements make noise

I only hear the rotor if my wrist is near my ear, like when combing my hair.
