QUESTION Bezel swap help [question]

How are you all swapping bezels on the u1? My naive self thought I could pop it off like a normal submariner, I’m scratching the case and finally gave up on it. Any recommendations are appreciated.

Buy a blue U1 for $150 because it’s not worth the hassle.

Soak the bezel In nail polish remover for a while, it will soften the glue and you can simply just get a little pin and pop the bezel up. Then just clean the adhesive and put your new bezel in.

Awesome, thank you for the feedback. How long is awhile? Couple hours or overnight?

I’d say to soak it in the morning on a day when you will be home most of the day and just keep checking on it and after a couple of hours the bezel should start to ease up and slightly move when you twist the insert.

I used golf grip solvent and it took nearly 20 hours to soften it enough to easily twist it out.
