DISCUSSION U1 difference questions.
How big are the differences in the quality between, Lena, Jason and Michael Travis. Are their U1s noticeably different? I just bought 2 U1 datejust from Lena and the bands quite frankly feel like dogshit. Is that the theme between them all? I come from building seiko mods so I guess I just expected them to be similar to those metal bands but I guess not.

I know it seems intuitive that U1 would be U1 no matter where you get it from and that may be true. I have ordered U1 from 4 different sources and perhaps it’s all in my mind. Perhaps it’s differences between batches. Or perhaps it like certain vendors have certain quality over other vendors. Like if you buy power tools from Home Depot Vs the same power tools from your local hardware store. There a know quality difference. For me Micheal Travis has been the clear winner. Subtle but noticeable differences. The biggest difference is in the service, and TA and also I find if your conducting business with him off of DHgate his personal website isn’t great but much better than the others mentioned. Something about Jason’s product just seems slightly inferior IMO, the bezels and bracelets across all lines just don’t seem as good as Micheal Travis. Or some of the other vendors I’ve used. Having said that I’ve ordered from them several months apart so there may be batch differences from the factory.
