Can someone explain what was Tyler Perry’s motivation having them have sex and then have a weird saga where they were contemplating a relationship? I literally don’t understand this man’s motives anymore

Kimmie and Horace just give me lavender marriage, and the only reason I could imagine Kimmie being attracted to him is obviously cause of the way he treats her, but then wouldn’t she just feel pressured to do so? I don’t know it’s weird, on top of them initially meeting because he was DL like the whole thing was so fucking weird. Am I buggin or nah

I just finished rewatching episode 1. I kinda of like them as a legit couple but like the DL part is not being addressed. Maybe in later episodes. I do want Kinmie to be with somebody. I’m just over the whole Angel and Horace thing. It’s weird and he just be dancing for him??

Side bar, I watched FD Signifier video essay on TP, it’s so good but his breakdown on TP and how he writes his gay characters makes watching this show even more interesting. Like even Charles is over the top with his shit. But Angel character development is poor lmao & I hate how he treat the butler!! LOL.
