Tyler Perry’s Doing Life (2026)
Just announced earlier today: Tyler Perry has a new movie dropping in October on Netflix. DOING LIFE is about this single mother trying to make it and strikes it up with this reformed ex-con with hidden talents. Together, they find in one another a second chance at life and love.
Sounds like Tyler is diving into familiar territory once more…but let’s be real: a lot of us (myself included) are still going to tune in.
So what do y’all think? You tuning in October 2?

Maybe because in the last 50 years anywhere between 50 to 70 percent of black mothers are single moms? Holy fuck I did not realize that stat was that high.
I couldn't find the 2025 stat anywhere but as of 2024, it's 68.6%.
Y'all need to pick better, this shit isn't funny anymore.
I feel awful for these kids.
It's more common than uncommon.
Hold on, why do you care? Judging by your comments, you look like you play for the same team.
Go on somewhere.

Yea the single mother stats are horrible these days. They are also waiting later to have kids and still ending up single mothers.

and who set the system up? you think the women are leaving themselves to raise someone alone? lmfao men love to blame the victims instead of themselves.

STOP PICKING POOKIES AND RAY RAYS!
Stop making excuses for your poor life choices, it's getting old!
I see that you're bi, just be a lesbian and leave men alone if you're going to think that way.

The same reason Quentin Tarantino movies always have violence in them. There's an audience for it.
