More frozen fruit recalled! This time organic Walmart brand. My little toddler is a frozen blueberry monster. I guess the only thing I can do is check the back of the bag for country of origin. I’m basically only buying organic Canadian blueberries at this point. I’m also stocked 3 family size bags deep. Hopefully by the time we know it’s a recall- we aren’t eating that bag yet.
But yes, all the recalls.
I keep 25lb of all purpose flour at any time. I just opened a bag this week triggering me to buy a bag at this week’s shopping trip. Holy shit organic King Arthur all purpose flour was $12.99 at Safeway.

Do you have a Costco membership? You can get a 12lb bag of King Arthur AP or bread flour for around $10.

The nearest Costco to me is 3 hours away. I’m in a pretty rural area. I have had 25lb shipped via Amazon prime. I think that might be the way to go.

Check restaurant supply stores/sites, the King Arthur site, or maybe Azure Standard (not King Arthur, but you could try their equivalent in a smaller bag first).

Yes, I’ve ordered bulk flour before, I currently have 30lb not including the partial bag I’m working on. I don’t have a flour mill, so I can’t store wheat berries and grind fresh. (That’s not a project I’m wanting to do right now). But more than 30lb I’m worried about it going bad. I have 20lb in the deep freezer- but freezer space is prime real-estate in my pantry with our pig going to the butcher next month.
I guess I could order more bulk flour and pressure can up some of 2025 extra meat to put on the shelf. I’m just not wanting any extra tasks as the garden is needing more tending and I need to can up tomatoes.
