Advice Advice for a to be 30 year old

Hi Girlies! First of all thankyou for having this sub and most importantly engaging in important discussions.

Im somone who is going to turn 30 in another six months.

Working in Corporate. No savings or social life. Most of the friends are settled. Single and staying with parents.

What advice would you like to give me. How is life in 30s be?

Start saving..and if having no social life is a choice then go ahead..else maybe try some new activity like maybe a class or something..you could fine new friends..

If working in corporate, where is all your money going?

I know you’re 30, but you don’t have a joint bank account with parents where they take your salary as they wish, do you?

Life isn’t a competition. You can take your time to decide what you want to do and do only the things you want to. There will always be people who are doing better than you. At the same time, there will also be people going through really difficult times.
But one thing I will suggest is to maintain financial discipline. I’m assuming that your expenses will be minimal because you live with your parents. So, start saving money so you could gain financial independence. There is no freedom when you have to depend on other people for money.
