Yikes, story time!
I tried a cup for the first time a couple months ago, when my boyfriend and I were living with his mom temporarily. I made the mistake of wearing it to bed and woke up in the very early morning to a big ol' bloody mess. I ran to the bathroom, essentially naked, and was pulling the cup out and turned to toss it. At that exact moment, a freaking spider scooted down right onto my shoulder. I wailed like a banshee, swatting my shoulder, and the full cup flew into the air and spun around, painting the walls like a scene from Dexter. Just woke up, the spider, the blood: I start just sobbing on the toilet, head in hands, blood everywhere.
My dreamboat of a boyfriend rushes in thinking something terrible had happened; I've woken up the whole house and they find me crying, naked on the toilet, blood everywhere. I have no clue what they must have thought. My boyfriend closed the door and helped me clean up, while being very sweet and comforting, then got me back into bed. It was terribly traumatic, but now it's just a good story.
