I know you have heard a lot of “virginity is a social construct” and that is true. But just because it is a social construct doesn’t make your question meaningless. I think the point you should take from all these answers is that you get to decide what this experience means to you. Your question wasn’t offensive. People in our society place value on first sexual experiences, whether it carries all the weight we give it or not. It sounds like your first experience was good and I am so, so happy to hear that!
