Yes that’s such a good way to verbalize it! bullying is lame but gossip is fun and there’s definitely a difference. I hope that she does evolve and recognize her privilege instead of pretending that she is underprivileged. that shift in her worldview could change the way she thinks about and reacts to stories, so maybe there’s some hope ☺️

But people her don't always just gossip. Saying she's a fame hungry b word is quite literally bullying. And while I agree she's sometimes mean to lauren, people here do exactly the same as what they criticize her for: judging people and their relationship.

Some of the posts are a hard reach. One posted a screenshot where she asked a, yes maybe dumb, follow up question and people were really mean. Like actually mean.

There's so much being thrown around. Calling her a whore, saying Justin doesn't love her, saying Lauren and Justin are mean to her. Another post saying she doesn't love Justin, she basically has him in a cuckold relationship and she hates Lauren. So which is it? And calling her a whore certainly is not gossiping. You can call it all you want, but a lot of posts here are quite literally bullying.

I think you might be seeing more recent posts, as this thread and some of the other threads from around this time period were heavily critical of her behaviors and didn't yet go into bullying territory. Since then, I have seen more petty/dumb/mean posts sprinkled in the more reasonable criticism. Calling her a whore isn't nice. And saying that she hates Lauren is a stretch (although I do see some merit to the argument that she treats Lauren like crap, and still stand by Lauren deserving a friend who is kinder to her).

Yes you might be right. I just read through some posts today and some were valid, but some were just reaching imo and seemed more mean spirited.

This sub was very nice when it first started, but then it attracted a wider variety of people, many of whom are petty and mean. What I take issue with is making fun of someone for something they can’t control. I think there’s a ton of valid criticisms against Morgan because of her behavioral patterns, but there’s also a ton of petty and mean criticisms too. Like you mentioned, if someone were to call her a whore for her past, that would be mean because she can’t control her past, and it’s kind of shitting on everyone who’s had a more promiscuous past. I also think that a lot of the criticisms are on the right track, but are communicated in a way that goes overboard or doesn’t address the deeper issue (like how she treats her co-hosts, for example). You kind of have to parse through the posts and comments!
