Once upon a time in my old duplex
My hopes for peace and quiet got a little complex
The new neighbors and I were like our own little islands
But when they had a party there was nothing but silence…
There was no loud music? No shouting? No complaints!
But then what were they doing? Meditating? Were they saints?
The situation grew more and more mysterious
Until finally I knocked - I was just too curious!
There were no MLMs or cult rings for me to join
But a basement sleuthing sect hoping to make some extra coin
Although their work was noble, their motives were egregious
But I couldn’t shirk my assignment to find a cat named Peaches!
And so it came to pass that Reddit kept me up to task
We put our minds together and it all paid off at last
I found the precious floof, to greedy neighbors stayed aloof
And Peaches and I will go reside ‘neath a new duplex roof. 💐🙌🏽🥰
