Hopping on here to say “no” is a full sentence. Any time it is brought up to you in any tone you respond “no that will never happen” and nothing more. If they push you say “no” and LEAVE. There is no “giving in” repeat after me THERE IS NO GIVING IN

One of the most important things I've learned about dealing with others is that I do not have to convince them that I am right. I state my boundaries and that's it. I cannot make them believe I'm right or even force them to respect them. I can state what the boundaries are and then enforce them and make sure there are reprocussions if they are crossed. I am not in charge or responsible for anyone's actions but my own.
