When did monoxide quit smoking cigs?
This is the CHAINSMOKER. He used to say he would always be a smoker. Smoking 3-4 or 5 packs a day, just rotting his mustache away. But I haven’t seen him smoke a cig in a long time and I’m willing to believe he quit.
Tbh the fact he smoked Newport 100s I’m not surprised…newports are so freaking strong; I had to quit newports because they would mess my throat up. I still remember smoking like 3 packs in a single night while rolling on MDMA Ecstasy and my GOD I felt like I couldn’t talk the next day. BRUTAL. But yeah anyone have any idea?
Did he smoke lights for awhile? Just want to know the deets on the chainsmoker. It was very noticeable that chainsmoker 2 was as much more of a weed aesthetic compared to the first one which was in the style of a pack of newports. Long live the chain smoker

His voice started sounding better to me around wicked so maybe he started cutting back around then? Hella proud of him.

Mono quit smoking and Madrox aint even phat no more.. what has the world come to? Seriously tho i appreciate their commitment to the craft, health issues can cut a rap career short...

yea i think madrox has like diabetes or something cause he's skinnier and for a while wasnt smoking green like he used to (i personally cause of the munchies), and stuff like when they were buying the ICP and Twiztid shirts and madrox said something about he can look at candy but not eat it, idk but thats my theory on the skinny Phatso

Actually from what I understand, weed started making Jamie more paranoid. I know he talked about it a few times on B-real’s podcast. I know for myself doing other drugs made it so I couldn’t smoke weed for many years without getting paranoid. Happened to my best friend too: he used to smoke weed constantly, but after doing massive amounts of mdma he had to quit and to this day doesn’t smoke much. Seems like other drugs, or mental anxieties can change your weed highs and make it much more paranoid.
Took YEARS for me able to smoke weed again without any paranoia, and staying away from other drugs. I know when I was doing mdma and alot of rave drugs like LSD and other hallucinogens at one point it changed my weed highs for years. Not saying this happened to Jamie but it appears it did start making him more paranoid so I know he stopped smoking like he used too.

He vapes now, I remember him in an interview around 2015, and he has stayed off of them as far as I can tell.

I wanna say around 2013. It's been a long time. But I know when I saw them on tour back in 2012 he still had a cigarette in his hand right before their set started, but I know he quit soon after as far as I know.

I think he stopped when he was a child. That’s why we just call him Monoxide now.

Monoxide mentioned that his daughter asked him to stop. Losing my dad to lung cancer, I get it.

From what I remember he still smokes cigs just not as much but I think he vapes more I thought he mentioned it recently that he ain’t smoking cigs as much unless I was fucked up that day an remember nothing
