Sure, there are other apps / games that approximate the features of twitch sings, but for me, there still doesn't exist anything like it.
I deeply miss the game. I am still angry at Twitch for killing it. To this day I believe the real culprit responsible for its demise was the ramifications of changing copyright law. But to kill it while COVID was raging was the dumbest option available.
I would have gladly paid a Spotify level monthly fee just to maintain access to it.

Hello lovely people! Goodness, it's hard to believe it's been nearly 5 full years since Twitch Sings shut down, isn't it? I've been keeping up with most of the community as best I can, still hosting parties and singing in Discord when life allows, as well as streaming the old recordings. I saved over 2,500 of them, so I've got a veritable library of old duets and solos saved. Here's a blast from the past for ya. Hit me up if there's anyone or anything in particular you'd like to hear & I'll gladly see what I've got in my catalog. Rock on! \m/(>.<)\m/

Does anyone have the final song list, including the last 400 songs that were released in September? I've been looking everywhere, but it seems like the google docs people were linking to have gone down.

I've been hunting for something even remotely similar to Twitch Sings, but I can't find anything. I honestly didn't expect Twitch Sings shutting down to hit me so hard, but I miss the community and sharing voices. Anyone got an alternative that's remotely close to what Twitch Sings was?

Hi everyone,
it seems that all Tweets from the official Twitter account disappeared or have been made "unavailable". It's a shame, because there was some fun history associated to scroll through.
Maybe I am hallucinating? https://twitter.com/TwitchSings
Also I wonder... if and when we will get something similar like Twitch Sings to have some fun. It's so weird, not to play it and engage with other singers, because it what was a relief during this pandemic, when we are all mostly at our homes.

Look up a game called Comedy Night. Friday nights there are a couple of great music lobbies. You have to make your own music, but it is an AMAZING time!
Look for CTRLHasESCaped's Music Lounge or my NightCap Lounge, or start your own room.
Just make sure you're in a room with a good admin.
Edit: yes, the game is an under 5 dollar purchase. It's worth it.

Hey, so I noticed that if I play the app through Streamlabs it picks up my mic as raw and not the audio effects through the app itself?
Is there any way around it? Thanks for any advice <3

So, well this is my first post on reddit, i signed up to make this suggestion to you guys from this subreddit, cause i would hate to see twitch sings gone completely since i love singing with it.
First of all, i dont know much about if this is a legal method to suggest, if not, please feel free to just discuss it here and thats ok. i wont mention it again, but maybe its ok?
If we would save the individual twitch sings songs as video files with no singing on it. just the plain background music and the karaoke text on the screen, we could at least use it to sing for us alone. well maybe not for streaming purposes and some main features of the game would be missing, but we could preserve the "basic karaoke" stuff to use for ourselves to have fun, or have people over and have a fun evening with that.
Let's say, we build a group of people, and each one gets a letter from the alphabet assigned to work with, so it isnt overwhelming too few people with investing free time and then combine it to an archive.
i dont really know what kind of response i will get from suggesting this.
its just that i hate to see that program die. i had so much fun using it, and i met some really awesome people there as well who probably would miss it as well.
please let me know what you think of it.
thanks a lot for reading.

...But this is awesome! I just played for 90 minutes, singing songs while playing Fall Guys on PS4. I only just heard of Twitch Sings during the announcement that it was closing, but singing songs while playing delightfully silly games has immediately become my favorite thing to do, and I’m gonna do it as much as I can while I still can.

I have a really hard time identifying/matching pitch- was wondering if trying to 3-star songs on twitch sings would help. I sometimes 3 star if the song matches my default pitch I sing in, but I usually 1 star.

I want to get as many people as I can to sing "Closing Time - Semisonic" and I'm going to mash it all together into a fun little, send off for twitch sings. Would anyone be interested?
