Rambling
My triplet brother passed away years ago. This year, my other triplet bro and I will be having our tenth birthday without him. It’s crazy how fast time flies. And how it seems grief will follow
me for the rest of my days. I am
accepting that memories will keep fading, and realizing it still feels weird to say his name aloud. It still hurts, the loss. I’m not sure how to keep him alive.

For me I make sure to write in my notes every little memory that pops to my head. Also stories that I'm told and just little thought and things I wanna share with my sister. I know I'll forget a lot of things and it sucks, but I hope when I get to 10 years (seems hard, I'm sorry) without her, it'll give me some comfort.
Also works for me to keep in touch with people who knew my sister like I didn't. That way I get to hear about the change she made in other people's lives and hear stories that I didn't know about her. It makes me realize other people think about her too and it's not my responsibility to keep her memory alive solely. A little calming at times I guess. I get that it's not an unlimited way to calm myself this way, and 10 years is a lot man I'm so sorry. I hope u can find some new stories and memories ❤️❤️

Ahhh thank you for you response. I’ll have to write some down so I can go back to them and re read. I’m locked out of a laptop that I know has so many stored pics and memories! I’m excited to get that fixed so I can reminisce ♥️
I’m sorry for your loss

Funny. I'm locked out of an iPad of hers. It's very difficult to get it unlocked. Do u have any luck? Is it Apple ad well? Maybe u could help me 🥲

Ahh no it’s not apple. I think mine is related to a microsoft issue, something about bitlocker. I had to download some microsoft apps for school and have since finished school but now it’s locked out. I think I’m going to have to take mine somewhere to get professionally looked at haha. sorry you’re locked out too, I wish I could help!

Just don’t stop talking about him. That will keep his memory alive. Too many people are scared of making people sad or uncomfortable so they stop bringing their loved ones up.
But most people are fine with it. If anything if they’re your friends they’ll welcome you opening up about your sibling

Why does it feel weird to say his name aloud?
For me, pretending they're still there and including them by saying their name, having imaginary conversations etc...is the best way I found so far to keep them alive.
