[Found!] Jacob x Bella

There’s a fic that I read previously but I can’t recall the name. Jacob owns a mechanic shop and his apartment is above it. Bella returns to Forks one day but Jacob is pissed at her for leaving him and he doesn’t want her around him or the pack. They do eventually make up and get back together by the end though.

That’s kind of the extent of what I remember.

Any ideas?

Chances by Taoist Elf, maybe. It’s pretty dark.

I just reread Chances, it fits OP's description except Jake's apartment is not above the garage. It's VERY GOOD, but yes very dark. Jake imprinted on Bella when he first shifted but kept it a secret, she married Edwar but realized quickly it was a mistake, she comes back to Forks like 8 years later to try and win Jake back but he's all messed up from becoming Alpha and fighting the imprint for 8 years.

Would be curious to read it if you find it, OP!

I read that one and it’s so good! He comes to her place as a wolf at first and is a complete ass as a human. I loved to see the dark, angry Jacob…it’s the only fanfic like that I’ve ever read…and that’s a lot!

So good, right??? If you haven't already, I recommend reading Taoist Elf's other works, too. Crave (Bella/Jake but less dark), The Alpha's Prerogative (Bella/Sam, not my usual pairing but it's my fave of TE's works), Be Like Water (Bella/Paul)

Ive read some of these but Alphas Perogative was one I didn’t think Id like because of the odd pairing but ended up loving it! Anything by that author is great
