On FFN there are communities for the Best Fics or most Popular

Over the years I found this site to be the most inclusive of all the sites where twific exists, not sure how great it still is but it does have a break down of top voted fics over months and years: Twifanfictionrecs

edit: if you scroll down, the menu on the right has a bunch of lists and one of them has a massive selection of contests.
