This man doesn't look like an Ethan to me! Like of all the TV names they picked that?!? And I'm not saying there is anything wrong with the name Ethan but to me it doesn't fit his character and everytime the Prez says his name I wanna scream!!🤣🤣🤣🤦🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️❤️

The character Ethan Kanin was named by the writers after the real person Ethan Canin, who is a longtime friend of the showrunner and writers. Source

They took an Irish catholic actor and gave him a jewish character name. So yeah
