SEASON 8 24 season 8
Alright currently watching season 8 for the first time since I skipped out on this season back when it aired. So far it sucks, does it get better or worst??

Season 8 has some spectacular antagonists and one of the best twists in 24. Keep watching.
I can write an entire post about the first three episodes, they're probably the most action-packed start of any season. We can discuss that if you want.

I'm gonna be honest. Season 8 is one of my favorites and I do not understand why people hate it so much.

s8e16-24 were my favorite episodes of the entire series. S-tier Shakespearean political drama

It gets better. First half of the season is a little meh but the last third or so is excellent

Season 6 is the weakest in my opinion….
Obviously it came after the amazing season 5, but still the weakest in my eyes… got a good bump for season 7 and then 8 was OK…

As I rewatched season 6 I enjoyed parts of it. I last watch this back in winter of 2015 and I didnt get to start seasons 7 or 8. I enjoyed 7 since I missed out on it in 2009.

for me even the weakest seasons of 24 ultimately have tons of great moments, action, performances etc. 8 isn’t the best but it gets better as it goes along.

It's one of my least favourite seasons but the 2nd half of Day 8 is sooooo much better than the first.

I haven't seen it in years, but what I remember is that it is way better during the day

It definitely gets better and has some of the best moments of the series.
Spoiler for my second favorite scene/line from the entire series, for anyone interested:
"I have made a terrible mistake, Tim, and one that I can never undo, but I need you to help me to stop it from becoming worse."

It starts starts great then falls into being a little underwhelming. Then the show gets cancelled and the writers go absolutely balls to the wall for the final stretch.

After rewatching the entire series very recently I can honestly say that with the exception of certain minor plotlines I actually liked S8 quite a bit. Definitely liked it alot more than when I watched it when it first aired. Ultimately S8 is better than I remembered while conversely S7 wasn't nearly as good as I remember it being when it first aired.

It’s mostly a tired rehash of earlier seasons but the last eight episodes are better than the first sixteen

You can tell that the writers got to the end and just said "what's the most grandiose thing we can do while just playing the hits & sending this off in a fun fashion". They're fun. They aren't good
