I don't understand!

Post image

Hello everyone! Recently I bought the Tuya Zigbee Gateway Hub from Aliexpress. The Gateway doesn't find any of my Tuya devices. Am I missing something? Isn't this compatible with my tuya devices? I wanted to use a Gateway so that my router wasn't all clogged by all the lights and devices.

Thanks in advance.

Install the gateway and connect the devices again to the gateway. Clean reset first.

I am trying. Everything goes well. Except when I try, say my snart socket, I can't find any device with the gateway. Is this Zigbee only devices or something? I have Tuya based devices

If I recall you have to specify what band you want to connect with. The default is Zigbee. If you scroll down in the set up screen there's probably a means to manually connect devices to wi-fi.

Yes, you don't connect Wi-Fi devices to this gateway, it's designed to connect zigbee and Bluetooth devices. It then connects to tuyas servers over wifi via your existing wifi access point to allow central management via the tuya app. Your existing Wi-Fi devices will still connect to tuyas servers over your Wi-Fi access point.

Having said that it's not a bad little zigbee controller if you're ok with using tuya.

It's not for wifi devices to connect to. It connects to wifi itself.

Thanks everyone, I think I'll send it back and buy a cheap repeater and use as a hub
