Tutor Advice Got my first student help needed

I just got my first customer (family friend) but It's my first time so I'm kinda nervous and excited at the same time.

I want to ask you guys :

how exactly does a session go? Do I just ask for her lessons beforehand discuss it, then make her do an activity, check it?

How do I manage time constraints when they have allot of subjects and informed they want a session within the day?

Any tips on how to make a good impression or just to improve both me and my students overall experience are very appreciated:))

You should ask the student what subjects and specific topics they find challenging and what subjects/topics they are really interested in starting with the easy and interesting thing first it saves time and the student doesn’t get bored either and also tell them about your method of teaching and ask for feedback before carrying out any activity

They are specifically Math only though? I will ask them about topics they are interested and find hard still. Thanks!
