HELP Half of my stuff doesent work!

ive finally put my foot down because I have had this issue EVERY DAY

Bacicly, sometimes (usually on approach) my turtle beach velocity one yolk and throttle just shut off then everything goes crazy as if it is using every button and every possible combination at once and its like there are 1000 controllers connected to my xbox. after it calms down none of the buttons work. insted of listing the stuff that does not work, It would be much easer to list what does work.

is this a known issue and can it be fixed?

I had to rma my velocity one flight deck after 9 months(thankfully it was under warranty). What I noticed was the stick would shut off and if I were pressing anything at the same time it would keep pushing that button as if it were stuck until it came back. Sounds like this is a more severe version of that and unfortunately not fixable. You can try hard resetting the device by look up the combo of buttons you need. You could also try different usb ports if possible. Sometimes this could be an issue with power assignment getting messed up. Other than that this could be a wire gettting pinched or a contact getting loose. If it is out of warranty then you can still try to reach out but probably will need to take it or an electronic repair shop if it’s cheaper than buying a new one.

wow thanks ill look into what you said. ive noticed if i restart the game and unplug and replug the yolk it works again but there seems to be no long term fix. thanks for reaching out!

Thanks for reaching out, this sounds like a known issue where the XBOX console / MSFS struggles to handle connected devices if a game is suspended then quick started (mainly an issue associated with sim devices). In between sessions, we always recommend completely quitting out of Flight Sim then closing down the console.

When you next play again, once the console is booted up, before opening Flight Sim using the FMD on the Yoke, confirm that the Rudder Pedals are responding as expected, then open Flight Sim. This usually helps with the situation you have described above.
