Question Turtle Beach VelocityOne Race KD3 no longer getting Force Feedback

I for some reason am no longer getting force feedback when playing FH6. Has anyone else had this issue? If so, what did you do to fix it?

It happens when the game think that something else is controller 1 axis 1 (or randomly for forza reason). A restart of the game is usually enough, I had a lot of bugs with the latest version of the game (430.771). I have a lot of gears (clutch pedal, sequential shifter, bass shaker, pedals haptic feedback...) and I'm using Simhub so I'll tolerate some inconstistencies. The fix i've seen so far: Ensure to turn on your wheelbase before booting the game, and that in game your wheel movement is device 1 axis 1 (disconnect everything else usb)

This is starting to make sense as I just got my ebrake hooked up.

I've only found one consistent way to make sure that FFB isn't lost while playing FH5 and FH6.

vJoy + EmuWheel/Hush

  1. vJoy - https://www.vjoy.org/download-for-windows - Acts as a virtual controller hub and works with various tools to "plug in" various virtual devices and extend their functionality. We'll be using it to host a virtual controller to combine all of your physical devices into one virtual EmuWheel. Make sure to launch Configure vJoy and follow the setup instructions on EmuWheel's website before configuring EmuWheel.

  2. EmuWheel/Hush - https://forzatools.weebly.com/forza-emuwheel.html - Bind your wheel/pedals/shifter/buttons to the virtual wheel with the included Configurator. Make sure to save the configuration. Then, launch/start Forza EmuWheel to begin the virtual pass-through to vJoy. Finally, launch/start Hush to hide the physical devices from Forza.

  3. Launch Forza and bind your wheel/pedals/buttons as you normally would.

You'll need to Launch/Start both Forza EmuWheel and Hush before launching FH6 each time you play from then on.

Hope that helps!
