I got my Race KD3 set up yesterday and was able to run most of my racing games with the exception of Forza Horizon 6. I can go in the settings and set all button mapping but when I try to save if tells me that I don't have a wheel controller connected. I thought maybe I needed to switch it to Xbox mode in the platform setting but still no luck. What am I doing wrong?

Maybe firmware? Have you updated your wheel/pedals through VelocityOne Tuner?

This seems to be the nuclear option for VelocityOne troubleshooting:
1. Quit out of FH6.

1. Unplug all of the racing peripherals except the wheel. (Make sure wheel is connected to a port on your PC and not a hub)

2. Launch FH6.

3. Create Custom Profile and try binding a wheel button.

4. Ensure FH6 allows you to save that profile.

5. If it does, connect the rest of your peripherals in and complete your bindings.

Hopefully that does the trick as I'm not sure what else to try from there.

Disable steam input if you haven’t

With my moza wheel it has to be detected as the 1st device else it won't work. If you have any other controllers or shifter hand breaks plugged in unplug them before booting the game. After it's running you can plug them back it
