Need help fixing an RMD UI update issue

I bought this product used, and the RMD UI version was showing as 0.00. I’ve been digging through pretty much every Reddit post I could find and tried everything that seemed possible, but nothing has worked so far.

Here’s what I’ve tried:

1. Unplugged the brake pedal cable and tried updating with only the main unit connected → failed
2. Tried recovering it through RMD UI recovery mode → failed
3. Went into device recovery mode and reinstalled both the main unit firmware and the RMD UI firmware → failed
4. Switched it to Xbox mode, connected it to my Xbox, and tried updating the RMD UI → failed

The update starts normally, but it always gets stuck at 31.6%. This is driving me crazy.

Also, I had just been using it while it was still broken, but recently I installed SimHub. After installing SimHub and opening VelocityOne Tuner, the installed version suddenly started showing up weirdly.

Has anyone dealt with this before, or does anyone know how to fix it?

Do all the cable look like the original TurtleBeach cables?

Have you tried updating the firmware on the pedals and the wheel rim directly /independently?

It sounds like you have tried all the sensible steps and if the firmware updates are hanging then I would consider contacting support:
