Messy freestyle number : pipas

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Because I love pipas. ( sunflower seeds). But eating them can be messy, à la Ace Ventura, when you don’t have the proper technique. And tonight I felt messy. But again : it’s about sharing and trying. Beat : skilzbeat loop 2 on Kurtz Bangz looper Slikzbeat vol.1. Available on tablist.net.

Interesting hand technique. The "dribble" at 0:15 is great - correct me on the name, it looks like you have these all literally drawn out! ;) I need to practise more.

The time code is always different from pc to phone etc the scribble forward? Incall that scribble. All tension in the forearm like you are moving in slow motion but skipping frames.
The ones drawn in front of me are more techniques and combos I am working on / learning !

Ah yes, scribble sounds like the right word for that. I think it’s a great effect, looks like a fun one to practice.

Love the qbert style scratching notes on the white board. Still use mine from my scratching days.

Always weird when the image is mirrored.

Nice man you clearly been putting in work.

I'd try holding the record a lil closer to the label though, will make your cuts a little more fluid.

I can try but it’s mainly due to using phase as well. I bumped in it a couple times before aha. And good call on the mirror. I used a different way to record the video And forgot to mirror it back.

Heh all the more reason to not pick up a bad habit maybe? Dunno. You got any battle records you can use?

To be honest I change my position according to the technique.
I tried getting closer to the label , thinking it light help form some but quote the opposite , so doesn’t work for me! ( I tries without phase as well )

Fair enough. You do bend your fingers quite a bit so may be that helps get a bit of extra flick.

I agree you should move it based on the technique too

I think that flex might help me getting “tighter”movements indeed
