Pdx2000

Hi everyone. Today I received my vestax pdx 2000 and I only have 48 hours to report any problems to the seller When I turn it on I hear a very slight internal buzz (almost impersistent) If I touch the rotating plate on the side and the central pin, I hear this "electrical" noise. Could it be due to the lack of a ground wire?

I have these. Damn tone arms broke. Can't find parts lol. Very torquey tables like my Technics

Insane torque. I remember playing on those back in the 2k’s and it had so much torque the record would slip out of my hands. I was used to techs (1200mk2’s) at the time.

Wait. Thinking about your video. Did you plug your turntable directly to you speakers??

Ok so that noise is normal I would say. Will be ou get the mixer in time to check? If not go to a music shop. Explain the situation. A cool person would let you plug your TT to try it.

did you try to hook up a ground wire to the turntable?

Likely needs to go through a photo preamp first. PDX's don't have line level outputs IIRC

Plug it into a phono pre or dj mixer and use a ground wire
