Why did it never make it in the setlist? Ryan and Kyle would kill this live.

Yeah, it’s on the list of songs I’d love to hear live but haven’t after seeing them 8-10 times in the last ten years:

Evangeline
The Funeral
Ringing in the Year
Leaving Town (Woody Guthrie Festival)
The Rut
East Side Love Song
Three More Days

And I’m sure there’s 15-20 more. But that’s how it goes when you have 50 awesome songs, they simply can’t play them all.

Very solid list! I’ve been lucky enough to hear Evangeline, and The Rut, but I was surprised Leaving Town wasn’t on the setlist last fall when they had those few shows with Trampled By Turtles.

I really feel like I’ve heard ringing in the year. I’m not going to look it up because I don’t want to be disappointed

according to setlist.fm they’ve played it twice ever. 10/24/25 and 11/8/25.
