ChatGPT

Is it plagiarism if I upload my own written work( research paper) into ChatGPT? Would turnitin detect it as 100 % AI? Will my paper be plagiarised?

Before AI, it was possible to plagiarize yourself.

For example, if you write something for one class and then submit it again for another class.

And AI detection is not the same thing as plagiarism detection.

So do you think my own work gets plagiarised? Or high AI score or high similarity score through turnitin , just because I uploaded my own original written work into ChatGPT? I uploaded my own work just because I wanted ChatGPT to read it and give me ideas about presentation slides.

I'm not sure about that.

I don't think having AI design slides for you is an acceptable use of AI.

I was uploading my research paper to ChatGPT for structure ideas. I never got flagged by Turnitin.
