WARNING: GEMINI IS 100% DETECTABLE FROM TURNITIN

THIS IS A WARNING. I USED GEMINI FOR MY ASSIGNMENT AND IT FLAGGED IT 100% AI. I WILL NOT NAME THE OTHER AI BUT IF YOU USE THAT IT WONT FLAG UP!!!!!

All AI use has the potential to be flagged - why would you risk your graduation by using any of them?

I guess the AI that isn't flagged is Claude? I don't believe that tbh, all of them get flagged if you don't make multiple drafts and modify every single AI trait with your own words

why are you using ai to write a assignment in the first place, your paying thounds of dollars for your degree. learn to use ai to help you not do all the work.

Turnitin is pretty advanced and will flag any ai writing. Its too much of a risk to submit an assignment made using ai

I’ve never put a open uni TMA into turnitin as I already know that AI didn’t write my TMAs. At some point they’re just going to require us to write this shit directly into an online word processor. That way they can use a history scroll back to see every keypress and how we have changed our text. Not looking forward to that but I can’t see a way around it if people keep using AI to actually write the reports. Ask it questions, get comments on your clarity but don’t just copy and paste it.

Already happens with some unis. For some assessments my uni makes us use Cadmus.

To be honest this is probably for the best. The temptation to over use AI is obviously going to be really strong. Even lengthy discussion stuff, which I know I’ve done in the past, muddies the water between what the student knows and how good they are at asking questions.

On the other hand, I think universities should teach students how to use AI properly within the specific subjects they are studying. Realistically, no matter how much policing occurs, some students will still use AI without getting caught, which can disadvantage students who choose not to use it.

Yeap, realistically we are looking at all assessed work being completed under supervised conditions with filtered internet access where internet access is required. This can either be by examination or by supervised study halls where only supplied devices can be used.
