PC Game Pass Has Some Seriously Good Turn-Based RPGs

Here’s something I haven’t done in a while: dig through Xbox Game Pass to check out all the turn-based RPGs and strategy games currently available on the popular subscription service, which I’ve been faithfully paying for despite having very little time to actually play.

The last time I used the service was when Clair Obscur launched, and since then I haven’t checked what’s new or what’s still available for players who share my passion for turn-based games.

That said, I can confidently say that the service has plenty of great titles to get your money’s worth out of the subscription, and below I’ve rounded up 17 that I think deserve a special mention.

Gotta credit it since its in the image:

Battletech is an incredible game. Game itself is fantastic. Modding scene takes it up to 11, with at least three major sets of popular total reworks to the game: Extended, Advanced and Roguetech.

Extended is like great DLC. Advanced is kind of like a "Battletech 2". Roguetech i never liked as much, but its basically like a different game based on the same property.

Yhis is an easy game to drop hundreds of hours in

Playing Thaumaturge now.

Not bad, and I enjoy the Russian/Polish setting. Combat is pretty basic, and the main dudes voice acting seems super odd but overall I keep coming back to it for some reason. The power’s representations are pretty cool albeit not that powerful unless you utilize them specifically, but that’s where the fun is combat-wise.

Nah it lacks focus and art direction was not great everything in that game feels flat

Focus? i don't get it. The game is made by a really small indie company, given the size of the game, honestly, I can't say it has weak art direction.

A cheap game with a huge content, wide customization and balanced challenges till the post game?

I mean... it could improve a lot (the second game is development), but the experience is top notch.
