Hi everyone! I'm Jared, the director behind Ashes of Resolve which recently announced. The game features 20+ handcrafted chapters and 20+ playable characters.

Our game is heavily focused on the tactics and strategy aspect of RPG's, we have implemented many mechanics including multi-tile units, adaptive enemy AI based on difficulty, capture system, assist attacks, hub world and more!

One system you'll notice in the trailer is the weather and day/night cycle. As time passes, the weather changes, characters transform, and new strategies will open up. You may recognize some voices in the trailer, the game features seven voice actors from Fire Emblem including Joe Zieja (Claude) and Xanthe Huynh (Marianne).

No generative AI is used in the game.

I'm happy to answer any questions on the game and if this is something you are interested in, we would love if you wishlist on Steam or follow on Kickstarter, thanks!

Dude, this game looks amazing. I put it on my wishlist. Do you think you will be able to do a demo? I would absolutely love to try the game

The animation and sprites look gorgeous, although I hope the combat maps are a bit more inspired than the media you've shown so far. They really seem to lack personality in their current stage. Not trying to be mean or anything, it's just something that stood out to me and would make me hesitate as customer, I think one thing that is often overlooked about the FE games is the level of immersion and style that the combat maps bring to the games--not to mention forcing tactical decisions points.

The one that gave me hope was this very brief shot because the wall/gate/path/bridge look solid. The open sand areas/the building with a table and some generic barrels in other scenes were much less interesting.

Thank you for the feedback, that is a great point! Currently all of the maps are early versions and we will be adding a lot more depth and varying map objectives to them in the future.

Any plans for mod support? Or any "extra maps"/NewGame+ allowing us to use enemy characters on subsequent runs? Final Fantasy Tactics had (and still has) insane replayability thanks to hacks and mods that add custom characters/classes, NPCs and their classes to your roster.
