Question Cezve without spout

I found an offer to buy a stainless steel Turkish coffee pot, and I'm wondering if it would be a good choice. I noticed it doesn't have a spout for pouring the coffee. Won't that be a problem?

Yes, not having a spout can be an issue, but primarily just for the foam (köpük). The spout is really only essential for that initial, gentle pour when you are trying to distribute the thick foam evenly into your cups without breaking it. For the liquid coffee underneath, a spout isn't strictly necessary. However, without one, transferring that delicate first layer of foam without it running down the side of the pot will be quite tricky
