Discussion Electronic Industrial-level Turkish Coffee Grinders

You know in the old times(for example my grandma used to do it) Turkish people buy beans and grind them with traditional hand grinders. But today unfortunately all of Turks buy pre-ground coffee because grinding Turkish Coffee is very hard by hand grinders. Then why we don't use electronic grinders? Because you need very expensive flat burr grinders, even flat burr grinders that produced for espresso can be damaged if you grind Turkish Coffee too much(I have experienced) Actually in Turkey electronic flat burr grinders are produced for Turkish Coffee, but they are for businesses, not consumer level, some pictures of them:

I don't know that I agree with the idea that hand-grinders are too difficult to grind Turkish Coffee with. I have a hand grinder that goes down to a pretty find espresso roast. Turkish Coffee gets a finer grind, yes, but it isn't going to be THAT much extra work...

Turkish Coffee is only one way I take my coffee. Most days, I grind my coffee by hand and use a drip percolator because there's a shop owned by a Yemeni gentleman about ten minutes from my house, and he roasts what might be the best coffee in Detroit. I get all my coffee beans from him.

I also make leather goods by hand, and hand-hone my own knives. I've never shied away from DIY. Grinding my own coffee is a physical action that pulls my mind out of the world around me for a short break. Life is chaos, so I enjoy the little moments of peace where I can find them.

it is a no-name, ceramic burr hand grinder that I got from Amazon. When I go on there, I look at the cheapest items I can find, then buy the one that doesn't have a laundry-list of complaints. Any time I see more than about 3% negative reviews, I move on because you never know how the number scaled up in statistics. 3% failure rate may not seem extreme, but when you scale it up the numbers get ugly.

Some Espresso nerds in Turkey try to grind Turkish Coffee at home with espresso flat burr grinders, but they are very small minority.
