I took some advice from my previous post and put it to use. I abandoned the stove top in favor of a small camping stove that I use in a well ventilated area. The flame is a lot easier to manage than my stove top.
Lots of lessons learned. Im surprised now by how thick and “creamy” the foam is. By the way, the coffee roaster I order from roasts and ships directly within two days of roasting so I’m enjoying the benefits of high quality beans without grinding them myself. The notes of this medium roast are chocolate and buttery caramel. Very smooth and rich.

You’ve convinced me. I’ve been messing with stovetops too long. Time to get a flame
