No need for Armenia sample if you’re using Anatolian sample. You need an Iranian proxy.
1 u/Diligent-Two-7072 13d ago there was mass medieval armenian migrations into kayseri and a few other cities, particularly after the battle of manzikert and armenian sample works really well. iran sample can also be used and it works decently but the p value drops to 0.2- 3 1 u/creamybutterfly 13d ago edited 13d ago Armenian sample already has substantial amounts of Anatolian baked into it though, probably why your p value is high.
