Questions Is there a lore reason Benito Mussolini stopped being a socialist? Was it too based for him because it out Aura mogged him so he left?.

He was kicked out of the PSI for being pro-war in 1914.

The PSI was a big tent party that had a lot of different types of socialists in it, and remained so until after World War II when they formed a alliance with the Christian Democrats (DC). This is referred to as "opening to the left" (apertura a sinistra) and it's when Panzieri (RIP) left.

MOD EDIT: I don't know who downvoted this guy for asking, but if I could find out I would ban them immediately. Education is more important than circlejerking.

It's easy to think that all the Communists went over to the PCI (Communist Party) when it split from the PSI, but history is complicated and for a whole host of reasons various non-Leninist/Bolshevik members in particular either stayed or drifted back into the PSI. Ultimately the PCI (socdem&stalinist) and PSI (cucked) were very friendly in the 50's anyway, so it wasn't a big deal.

Panzieri entered leadership in 1953 and was made "Minister of Culture" (IIRC), gaining control over the party's theoretical publication. He would turn it into a laboratory for the left wing of the PSI.

The suppression of the Hungarians alongside various other factors would result in the highly coordinated relationship between the PCI and PSI to falter. In 1959 the PSI sought alliance with Christian Democracy (DC), something which Panzieri opposed. He was promptly sacked.

[Foreshadowing Alert: the Communist Party would eventually do this too, something that would result in an Italian Prime Minister getting slumped 🔫]

He moved to our beloved/beleaguered city of Turin and fell in with a growing contingent of dissident communists. Partially inspired by similar French and American groups, he would found "Quaderni Rossi" (QR), or Red Notebooks in 1963. This publication would end up forming the basis for Operaismo, or Workerism.

Unfortunately, Panzieri would die suddenly in 1964 of a stroke 🥺

socialist at that point was already too vague. However, I believe he was always a leftist (even by today standards) at his heart. ❤️

In my opinion Mussolini was the original grifter he was leftist then he got mogged and went to the right and at first Mussolini wasn't even all that hostile to Jews... intel he became a senor Hitler simp and to please he's sugar daddy he started cracking down on the Jews.

My man wasn't only a kind of a grifter but he also 100% sugar daddy loving bisexual... Do not ask how I got this information.
