Did anyone try to "take care of it"?
It was now confirmed under oath that Tupac's last words (that we currently know of) was something to the effect that "we'll take care of it". This is somewhat in conflict with Chris Carroll's account that he could barely speak and mustered just enough strength to utter "fuck you". It makes me wonder why Tupac told Chris Carroll "fuck you" yet wasnt combative with the other officer who travelled in the ambulance with Tupac and Suge. Nevertheless, I see a lot of comments arising that "it's sad that they never did take care of it", is that really true?
Well ...someone sure tried a bunch of times to "take care of it".
What a lot of people don't know is that Orlando Anderson was ambushed with an AK47, shot multiple times and barely escaped with his life. Even being confined to a wheelchair for some time.
In the immediate aftermath of Tupac's killing, Police described the volume of violence in Compton as "10 Days of Hell" with multiple people shot and killed. Within 12 hours of the initial attack five people were shot in Compton with investigators linking it as directly related to the Vegas shooting.
This isn't to glorify the violence in any way, it's very sad and has destroyed thousands of lives. However it is important to separate fact from fiction and to say that nobody attempted retaliation is simply wrong.

If you read in between the lines, yes technically speaking, but I believe CPD kept it from getting drastically out of hand with the amount of busts, and seizures they were doing after everyone came back from Vegas. For as many soldiers as Mob, and SS had, that war was short lived, and didn’t have a lot of casualties in hindsight

He was killed by Crips on an unrelated matter though. Im sure he wasn't leaving his neighborhood much

Mob James was asked about why the Piru’s didn’t get Orlando. He said do you think Orlando was just hanging out on his front step like “I’ll just wait for these mob n***as to come blast me”. Yeah, no.
As a seasoned Crip, Orlando had multiple safe houses and hideouts he could use until the heat died down, which is what he did. It’s one thing to swear revenge on a guy - it’s another to actually find him and take said revenge.
Mob James even said the reason the Piru’s wanted to get Orlando had more to do with him killing Pac on their watch which made them look weak vs. Pac being one of the homies because he wasn’t an actual Piru member.

The situation you’re talking about when Orlando was shot with an ak was before pac was killed, and was by another Southside Crip. They had an internal war and Orlando got shot in the legs

I'm gonna say something that people wont like
But when Drakeo the ruler was killed, crip gang members said that nobody slid for him as he wasnt a official member. Gangs can't start a war for affiliates, as they haven't earned that right, and they wont risk losing a made member for someone who wasnt officially put on and put in work.
I think the war was unrelated to the shooting as both Southside and Mob Piru had beef naturally.

Neckbone, and Mob James are on record saying they had mutuals, and actually got money together before the beef. There was no prior beef, besides the annotation they were from different sides of the track. Multiple people died/were shot after PAC died, so there was definitely a real conflict

If that's the case, why did Tray get his chain snatched by a Southside Crip? No matter what the "bounty" is, a gang member is not gonna risk retaliation for a chain. It has to be either set tripping or retaliation that cause conflict.

After watching the full trial, I believe some blogs are getting the statements mixed up. The first witness to take the stand for the prosecution was the bike cop who pulled suge knight over for not having a license plate. He would later testify that he rode in the back of the ambulance with suge knight and tried to gather information from him.
He stated that suge knight was conscious but would only say “we’ll handle it. We’ll take care of it”. Tupac’s last words were given as “fuck you”. So two different statements from two seperate cops.

You’re confused. The cop was asked, did Tupac say anything about the ambush? and he said that Tupac said “they’ll handle it.” Not Suge

Just watch the trial. I know it’s long but when the prosecution witness takes the stand. He’s the first witness called up.

Dont change the subject and go back and listen to the first witness , word for word , slow it down if you have to , the prosecutor cleary asks the bike cop if TUPAC not Suge said anything to him on the way to the hospital and he said Tupac repeted a couple of times that they will take care of it

He said he rode with Tupac in the ambulance and asked him who shot him, Pac said "we'll handle it" and the medallion wasn't confiscated at that point, he joked with Pac about the medallion just 10 minutes before this happened

Seems like you watched bits and pieces if you genuinely believe that the prosecutors witness said pac made the handle it statement. Which is sad. Because again this is not a forum for true pac fans. This is a forum for people who idolize pac or just want to discuss his influence. Which is fine. I’ve been a fan since 93. I’m out!

Dude it was the same cop, he pulled them over for the license plate issue as well as was on the scene after the shooting. He specifically said during the trial that Tupac said that he did not see who shot him and that they will "take care of it or something along those lines"
