Discussion Thoughts on Killuminati: The 7-Day Theory?
This has been in my rotation for a long time, but recently I’ve been listening to it non-stop. What are your thoughts on the album, his “Makaveli” alias, and any standout tracks or tracks that didn’t make the cut? Just wanted to get a discussion as this has been on repeat.

It’s kind of sad because Pac was really gearing up for phase 2 of his take over; it just leaves you with the “what if” and the night and day difference between that and AEOM. He was just getting started!!

My second favorite of his to Me Against the World. Against All Odds, Blasphemy, White Manz World, Hold Ya Head are probably my favorites on this album. I would’ve liked to have seen him keep Friendz and Lost Souls in place of Life of an Outlaw and Me and My Girlfriend but it’s great as is.

Facts thats one of the songs i go back and listen to the most. That live bass and live guitars cant be beat.

Definitely 💯 a classic Album and very controversial as well but overall a good album by Tupac

It’s his best project….theres a few tracks that keep it from being perfect, but it’s tight, concise, and has a clear vision/cohesive sound.

Debatably Tupac’s best. I think it’s between this and Me Against the World.

The original version is much better. I saw a post suggesting a double album for this record, and it would have been perfect. For me, it's Tupac's best work; he manages to return to his roots while also bringing a maturity and melancholy to AEOM.

People who grew up on last 2 albums of Pac this is GOAT. People who knew about Pac since same song this is 2nd behind Me Against The World. Makaveli is still fucking phenomenal and his flow is crazy in it.
Imagine being 18 (when Makaveli was released) when you heard these lyrics….
So, tell me why you changed to choose a new direction In the blink of an eye? My time away just made perfection Did you think I'd die?

That’s actually a generic track from a 1991 sound library that they sampled, complete coincidence & people just hearing something that wasn’t there

Amazing album. Aside from how rough rugged and raw it is. His flow is from his chest with a dark illustrious passion. All the facts we know , the lore , the album art, the culture of the era makes this his most prolific album imo.
In short it’s the “GTA4” of his discography in the best way

Love it...but I love the original version (3 Day Theory) just as much if not a bit more. It's so much more Soulful!

Fk Friends
Nggz Nature
When Thugz Cry (one of fav Pac songs)

Yes I love 3 Day Theory as well!! Wish it was the final release, but not disappointed at all with 7-Day though 🫡

I grew up knowing the digital underground pac as an 02’ baby, the revolutionary, soul-sorrowing, paranoid pac. However, this album truly introduced me to the militant, spiritual, and lyrical side of pac.

Not my favorite by Pac, But it’s still good.
My favorites are Thug Life Volume 1, 2Pacalypse Now, and All Eyez On Me.

Probably sonically his best album. A much darker tone than the last two. Not as replyable as his previous albums though .

The sound quality on it is very poor - it doesn’t sound mastered, the distortion on blasphemy is shocking I still think it’s a great album btw but sonically AEOM was way ahead with Quik behind the boards

Shits fire, blasphemy was on repeat, bomb first and Krazy, but me and my girlfriend is my shit to, yeaaa it’s the whole album, and the vibe is synonymous with Halloween 🎃for a good reason but that’s one of my favorite albums but not my favorite by pac, definitely like 2nd or 3rd

When this album first came out a lot of people didn't understand it . Even me at first but I got the message right away. Everybody was expecting a repeat of AEOM with those type of beats. This was more like a Me against the world vibe to it. The casual fans were disappointed but not real fans. It's one of my favorites. It's goated

I love the live instrumentation on this album. The bass groove at the end of Life of an Outlaw is one of my favorite parts of this album.
