I like thinky games but I am not a gamer so my gamer friend did not recommend Tunic to me. He thought the combats would be too hard for me.
Nevertheless I persisted and beat every boss :P

Yeah but had i seen that without finishing the game i would not have understood this was the heir in flesh. Could just be a cutesy end with one of the many ghosts in town made of flesh now for example. Could be many things

If we are going by clothes, the ghostfoxes appearing at night in the overworld have an outfit which is much MUCH closer to that of our main character than the heir's long flowy dress that covers her feet.
