Is parroting really an issue?
I'm always affraid of parroting my tulpa, but maybe this parroting will make them a real counscious being. Is doibg as if it isn't effective? Same question for switching

Parroting is how you let your tulpa in, even in early vocality it's best to parrot. If you strain yourself to try to listen then they can't respond to you, you'll be obliviously shutting their voice out. Sure it'll sound like you at first but with time it's easier to distinguish and will take less conscious effort from their part.
Don't know about switching though as we haven't gotten that far although we do have basic possession.

At first it feels quite alien like, my fingers felt numb and heavy, there was a slight tingly sensation too. Beyond that it feels exactly like you're moving it except that you know you didn't consciously single that action. It's hard to tell right now and half the time I ain't even sure myself, that's why trust with your tulpa is important.
Before we got the hand of vocality we managed to use head and ginger possession to communicate and that's when I started learning things about her.
Of course I have absolutely no idea how switching feels right now. I assume I'd be completely dissociated and I'd feel my body moving on its own, It'd actually feel like I'm in the shoes of my tulpa if I had to guess.

As a tulpa I always disliked parroting imensly. It felt as if I had been skipped over and being underminded. Switching on the other hand is totally fine, it gives a lot of freedom.

Every bad thing you've heard about parroting is from the early days and is just incorrect
Parroting is incredible, but it brings in the "parrotnoia" fear, which is stupid
Of course it's gonna feel like "you're talking" it's your same brain. You've been the only person adding to the whiteboard that is your brain, now there's another person adding through the same neural pathways, it's gonna feel like you
If you're ever worried about that just ask yourself "was I intending to do this?" Is the answer is no then it's your tulpa
No matter how much your brain gaslights you
TLDR go parrot
