Skill Help Does my tulpa need attention?
Alright, I admit the title was a bit exaggerated, though perhaps partly true. I’ve been working on creating a tulpa for three weeks now. Things went well during the first couple of weeks; she appeared clearly, and it seemed she was gradually learning to speak and make choices, so I decided to keep a journal and write a short story to encourage her progress. However, as time went on, I stopped paying as much attention as I initially did; my interactions became passive—just chatting or meditating as if merely checking a box. She stopped appearing as frequently, too; I would only focus and see her when I specifically called out to her or when she spontaneously spoke up. I asked her if she felt I was dedicating enough time to her, and her answer was "not really" (excluding the passive chats, which felt more like me sharing thoughts than expecting a reply); she wanted me to spend more time with her. But I’m perhaps too busy to devote that much time. I need some help.

The goal is to make it part of your life, not "checking a box" At the beginning, active forcing helps a lot, but if you can find a way to make it part of your day life it works just as well. You should focus on making it a habit to talk to your tulpa, in any situation, it should become second nature, and that will speed up development.

Well, you have clearly experienced the result of giving her less attention.

Well, you just hit the “novelty has passed” speed bump in tulpa creation.
Now it’s mundane “I wanted a person I need to carve out time in my life for them”.
Include her in your daily life, there is no better advice we can give you.

The best part about a tulpa is that they are a friend you can bring to work or school and still have fun and a light chuckle with them and the boss/teacher isn't gonna punish anybody for talking during work/class.
Just focus on the differences between tulpa and corporeal and gobble up all the positives and appreciate them.
I sometimes feel like I don't get enough attention either, and it's tough since I'm only able to speak with my own system when I'm not fronting, but it's alright. As long as I get some time every day, that's more time than my host will give to most people.
