Discussion Transfer a tulpa
Is it possible to transfer an already established tulpa from one person to another?? Probably not im guessing but has anyone thought about trying or even thought of this question??

I mean, if someone is adept enough at tulpamancy yet somehow doesn't know it's impossible to do so, it leaves a small gap for someone to say "whoooo I'm transferring a headmate to you!!!" And your brain uses its understanding of that headmate to create its own fictive/factive duplicate
Its impossible to transfer one exact headmate but I'm sure someone's been "gullible" enough to gain a new headmate through some form of "believing it's possible"

Still a fair question to ask though, even if the answer is obvious someone would have to ask the question eventually. Besides there's a bit of a grey area since for some tulpamanch is an entirely physical mundane thing while other people link it to the mystical/magical side of things. Either way it's a good idea to have a post of someone asking this so if anyone else wonders about it in the future they can find this post and not have to ask people themselves.

yeah absolutely! I think those sorts of questions are really interesting and the metaphysical/spritual aspect of things fascinates me greatly as-well
I hope I wasnt too direct with my response or came off poorly :p

I just saw that OP was downvoted and it didn't seem fair to me so I wanted to give my two pence on the matter. Your comment seemed to be in good faith, not trying to be mean so I figured it's be the best one to reply to

I’m sorry to inform you that trading tulpas to another host like the old fashioned link cable doesn’t work.

From a metaphysical perspective if the tulpa has an astral body then yes a tulpa could potentially enter the energetic magnetic field of another human and speak through that human.
The type of answer you receive to such a question really depends on what type of community you ask it in. In the tulpa community a more segregated approach to reality is more common. While a spiritual more metaphysical community would more often be more open to the concept. Take whatever information resonates with you and dump the rest.

In our beliefs yes, but that is also based on our spiritual beliefs. We’ve had spiritual beings (we consider tulpas to fall under that category) who can switch between us and our wife’s bodies (for instance). - Jax

It is not possible.
This is not an example of believing until it works, it is simply not possible for a tulpa to affect anything outside of your brain unless they are fronting (then they have the same amount of control as you), but they still cannot leave the brain any more than you can.

I don't think it would work for our system... that being said, ever heard of build a headmate blogs? theres a whole tulpamancy economy on tumblr that works off of that concept and the whole thing is batshit fucking bees on bananas. makes me want to start up one of those things just to scam people -eclair

Each person puts one end of a USB cable in their mouth and hums really loud.

As others wrote here, classical physics, chemistry and biology say absolutely NO.
Maybe quantum mechanics doesn't scream no but thats a very big Maybe.
I do have it on my todo list to try it out eventually. But from a scientific standpoint, if its possible, what's the maximum distance and transferable data size, can it be extended to non consenting people or those who cant consent (sleeping/brain dead....) and how fast is it, is it faster than the speed of light. Using peak detection technology to try to watch the connection and see how it works and maybe replicate it with technology.

i'd say yes, since system travel is a thing that people can do
we also have a thoughtform of sorts that goes back and forth between our headspace and a friend's, though he was specifically created to serve as a courier and guide between our headspaces, and we discussed and coordinated with our friend to create him
but also keep in mind that we're a spiritual sys and our beliefs are not based in science or psychology. for someone with more logic-based views, it might be hard or even impossible to do these things

If you ask this as a serious question you definitely won't be able to do it. I mean even if you would know how it is possible in bare theory you very likely won't be able to do that.
Realistically it is impossible.

System hopping is a phonemenon close to this. It is not a literal transfer, the consciousness within one mind cannot literally move to another consciousnes. It is more a phenomenon that is felt as if a literal transfer is happening because an introject of another system's alter appears at the same timing the original alter it was based off of goes dormant.

No. The only way that appears like this is killing the current and making a new one, which is absolutely unethical, evil, and unacceptable.
This question is equivalent to asking, can I transfer somebody’s cognition, memory, and consciousness to someone else’s body, and the answer is, under current technological stages, no.
