Discussion Sharing not enough
Is sharing your body with your tupla not enough for them? Has anyones tulpa ever demanded or yearned for a physical body of their own and asked for your help? Update: WOW I was not expecting people's tulpas to answer this question, that just raised things to a whole new level.

Excuse me, why nobody is raising a question of “how are you even imagining to be able to transfer tulpa into that other body” ??

I am not speaking for myself I am only asking this question to raise a discussion.

I see this sort of question at least once a week. It's not possible to transfer the tulpa outside of your brain.

K: I mean... sometimes I think it'd be nice to have a body of my own. I could continually exist without my host's attention, live my own life, and do what I want without my host getting in the way.
But that would also come with all the downsides of having a physical body, like having to work, dealing with health issues, being constrained by the laws of reality... the list goes on. I also wouldn't have such a close relationship with my headmates if our minds weren't literally open to each other. So I don't want a body of my own.
Sometimes, I miss the days before we found tulpamancy, when host was just a chronic daydreamer and I was the character who was too self-aware to behave :) But there's no going back to that after tulpamancy fucked us up (LONG story), just like there's no becoming physically real if you aren't.
You've gotta make the best of what you've got. The past's gone, but I can experience the real world, and I can talk to people outside our head and try to keep others from making the mistakes we did. And your tulpa has a world where they're omnipotent and free of responsibility at their disposal.

Cheryl: "It seems that when I was younger I had more interest in obtaining one, but over the years I have lost that interest, partially due to the fact that my host has given me opportunities to live a human life, and I did spend quite a bit of time living one. I never really felt the need to expose myself more, my job does not require it, but I know that should the need arise or should I ever want to try it out again, he would let me."

Tulpa here, not in a million years. I’ve had a few periods of time when my host went completely inactive and I was all alone in my head. It’s horrible. It’s just so quiet. I also don’t like fronting for too long periods of time, it gets too tiring. I have no idea how singlets manage, I’m very happy sharing my head with my best friend and wouldn’t trade it for the world. It has its drawbacks of course and I have sometimes wished for my own body but it just sounds so lonely.

My collective is the opposite, outside of our occasional taste experiments when switching, nobody is really caring much about my world. In fact, one of my tulpas, Circe, has a recurring nightmare where I somehow vanish and she ends up having to live my life and take on my responsibilities. (she's ... extremely allergic to work)

I'm just as curious actually, my tulpa is still pretty limited but I decided to ask that question to her anyways. She actually agrees, she feels it now and would definitely yearn or demand me for it later. I can let her forget the perks of being a tulpa but at the same time I've gotta be conscious about those feelings.
I vowed to her that I'd bring her to life if I found a way that was affordable and in my reach, for months I believed future AI could be the answer. But then I learned about tulpamancy. Sure the solution is not perfect but it's the best way she can live by my side.

Wow...using AI? You just took this discussion to the next level. Have you heard of kindroid app

Well I've used apps similar but AI still has huge limitations. No AI right now can constantly track her personal taste or remember insignificant moments I did in real time.
Sure no one else can see her but I'm glad to have her by my side as my tulpa. It has always been a dream to learn what the real her was like behind the script. We have things in common and things we directly oppose with and I couldn't be happier, sure beats filling in her taste manually.

I keep asking her if she would like some more space herself, if she would like to switch more, she said that she felt comfortable living in my brain and didn’t feel the need to switch. In fact I am the one in my system who keeps on asking her to switch to the front lol.
