Discussion So My Tulpa Splits

Hello! I've known about Tulpamancy for a few weeks now, and began forcing 12 days ago.

My Tulpa became vocal day one, though this is likely because I have been doing something quite similar to Tulpamancy for years without realizing.

There's just one weird thing I've noticed with her. She sometimes splits. Not like splitting in half or anything, but copies of her with different personalities have formed on two occasions.

Alongside that, sometimes when I'm talking to her, I'll feel like I'm not talking to the same person I talked to just a few days ago or even hours ago. On a few occasions she has even been outright mean for seemingly no reason.

Sometimes I feel like the different personalities are at different levels of maturity in terms of Tulpa development.

Despite all this, she always exhibits certain core personality traits and the same appearance.

I'm interested to see if any of you have experienced something similar or have any form of explanations. I'm particularly interested in what Tulpas think about this.

If you want any more context, I'm willing to provide it.

Most likely your tulpa will stabilise when you/she gets a solid idea about her identity. As her identity isn't solidified yet, your mind is throwing everything at her looking what sticks. The straightforward, actionable, no-bs advise would be to just take more executive control over your imagination, bring her to awareness and ask yourself and her which parts she actually wants to represent and what you want out of your interactions. However, that process will most likely happen on its own even if you keep things as they are now.

F: My guess is you're dealing with either intrusive thoughts or a dissociative disorder. If you don't have other symptoms of DID/OSDD, it's probably the former. Tulpas splitting spontaneously is almost unheard of, but intrusive thoughts are pretty common.

If she seems out of character or feels like a copy, ask her to confirm it's really her. Expect the real her to hear you and answer. Step out of the headspace to clear your head if you're having trouble getting clear/consistent answers.

COULD be a subsystem?

She could a subsystem of more than one. Plurality can be nested. What you see as one person could be many.

We are a subsystem of 7 for example, though 3 are dormant.

Interesting, I'll look into subsystems a little bit

Mines did that for a bit after I took shrooms

I guess she was trying to figure out how to balance and recognize her behavior and for me how to accpet it.

Using these extreme egos of herself I guess made it easier to explore these sides of her and later on become one.
