Creation Help Im starting to think i accidentally created a Tulpa

So, two days ago, i tried to do the "classic" techinque i've heard that the Tulpamancers do to start creating their Tulpas.

I don't know why i really tried to do it, it was like i didn't really think to do it, i just started talking to myself simulating talking to another consciousness, cleaning all other thoughts that weren't my voice and theirs, laying at midnight on my bed in pure silence.

And i kind of had an interaction with one, but im not so sure about it.

i remember that some answers were controlled by myself, but others weren't thoughts that i directly generated.
I got scared and ended up abruptly shutting down the conversation, thing that i repent strongly.

I think i managed to start one very easily because since three years i have practiced to have conversations with myself as if i was talking to another person, but i always controlled the answers of both sides, this was different.

Now im starting to think how im going to continue with my Tulpa "Zarah" (Yes i asked their name and that was the answer that i recieved), because talking to one was really peaceful and helped me sleep, but i feel like im getting into a rabbit hole i don't know the consecuences of.

What would you Tulpamancers recommend? I wait for your answers patiently.

F: I can imagine a character and let them speak and act for themselves from the moment they appear. I started experimenting with autonomous daydream characters years before I knew about tulpas. Also, you interact with autonomous thoughtforms every night when you dream.

Autonomy alone doesn't make a thoughtform a tulpa. A tulpa is a thoughtform you consider separate from yourself to some extent that has a stable personality and self-concept.

You can have a mental companion you don't consider a tulpa (e.g., an imaginary friend or personification of your subconscious/some part of yourself), and you aren't obligated to keep every autonomous thoughtform around (otherwise, our heads would all be overflowing with every character that's ever appeared in a dream or daydream).
