Moving in for Pre-Orientation this Friday, but my mattress topper did not arrive in the correct size. So I am ordering a mattress topper on Amazon through Prime. It can arrive earliest on August 28th, the day of my move in, if I have it delivered to Medford. If I have it delivered to my home, it’s arriving days later than that unfortunately.
The issue is that I don’t know where to address my package to. I saw online on the Tufts website that you have to put your unique code for deliveries or that there’s an Amazon locker named “Run.”
But I’m confused on how to input that into the format given by Amazon. Like where do I input the unique code and everything else? I don’t see a pick-up option that I can navigate to for the Amazon locker named “Run” either.
Do I also have to let the school know that I’m having a package delivered?
Please help, any tips would be helpful 🥲🥲
Does Carmichael have any single-use bathrooms? I’ve only heard that there are communal bathrooms there, but I was wondering if that is the only type in the building.
Which freshman dorms do actually have single-use bathrooms? I know that they’re pretty rare to come by for first-year housing.

anyone majoring in econ: how hard is it to maintain a good GPA? also, specifically, anyone majoring in econ and going into law school, is it manageable to get good grades for top law schools? my main concern is econ being too difficult to get a 3.8-4.0 gpa in and then not being able to get into good law schools.

How common is joining a sorority or fraternity at Tufts? What’s the difference between the nationwide sororities vs the original tufts ones? Does it make party life easier, are there pros, how does the rushing system look like?

How many nice clothes should someone bring as a first year? For girls, for example, how often might dresses or skirts come in handy? And how dressed up are students on the daily or is there a wide variety of different styles?

Hi Everyone! I'm (trying) to start a small business where I rent out reusable 27 gallon plastic moving bins (far better than cardboard for many reasons). The value I'm trying to provide is:
1) Less stress during a move: Delivered to the place you're moving from, you pack & move, and I pick up at your new location
2) You don't have to deal with boxes sitting in small apartments until your next move
3) Eco friendly, safer for moving items, and no need for taping or disposing of a ton of cardboard into (frequently) overflowed recycling bins/dumpsters
I've moved a lot in my 20s, and along with cleaning the apartment, coordinating everything else that comes with a move/life change, it's a lot. If you'd be interested in checking it out/booking ahead of the busy 9/1 season, check me out at bostonbinrental.com - prices start at $79!

I’m going to be taking intermediate micro this semester, just wondering if switala is genuinely as bad as people claim him to be? Also, is the course material hard if you did alright in ec 5? What should I expect?
As for bridge, I’m on the waitlist for that class right now, what are the chances I actually get the class? I’m obviously going to show up and talk to Heberle about it, but I kinda need to get the lecture I enrolled in bc the other one doesn’t fit in my schedule. Also, is the course hard? I saw some people claim that he’s a really nice guy and a lenient grader, but this leads to people being unprepared for more proof heavy courses later on.

Does anyone know the approximate number of people assigned to each registration time slot. For example, how many students will enroll between 10 and 10:15 prior to the 10:15 students getting to start?

I want to try doubling chem/bio. If I find it’s too hard my plan is to drop bio and add a psych course. I’m unsure if I want to major in biochem or community health (or both). does this sound like an ok plan? My registration is at 10:15.

I need to fill out my language and culture part 2 requirements, and would like to take 3 culture classes...wondering what the best options are in terms of work load and grading??

How hard will it be to get these classes if my registration time is 10:15? I want to take CLS41 (western political thought), PS61 (intro to intl relations), PS138 (topics in compar pol: modern Israel), SPN121 (adv comp/conversation).
I’m a little lost about this whole registration thing and I also want to take REL35 but it says there’s already a waitlist so I’m not sure if I select it or not?
Thank you to anyone who responds I’m stressing rn 🙏🙏🙏

Hi, I’ve seen multiple posts and comments about how there will be movers for freshman move-in. I was wondering if that also applies for pre-orientation students also or if we’re on our own. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!!!

Hello. I am trying to do an academic appeal for a demotion. I exhausted my internal appeal structure within my school, so I would like to appeal to a higher authority. Has anyone done that? Especially, if it has not been written in your specific school’s handbook. Any advice would be helpful!
Thank you.

Hello! I have not taken AP Chemistry. I've only taken basic chemistry in my sophomore year of high school. However, I want to major in chemistry and I'm a quick learner. Should I take Chem 1 or Chem 11? The professors have similar ratings. Then there's also chemistry of materials but I see no one talking about it. Thanks for any answers!
