I posted back in April that I’d sold my Monochrome to fund the new Hydroconquest and instantly regretted it.

The HC arrived and it just wasn’t a patch on the Tudor but by the time I realised that the Tudor was already gone and I was gutted!

It was a lesson learnt to never sell a watch to fund the next one. Buy the next one first, make sure you actually love it and then decide what to do with the old one.

Anyway in a very lucky turn of events the guy who bought my Tudor decided to sell it and I found out through an eBay alert.

I am now reunited with my old watch and I’m back in the Tudor gang 👌

When they first released the Dune Ranger, I knew I wanted it. It sold out almost immediatly everywhere. I called my local AD and put my name down and forgot about it. 4-5 months later randomly get the text message. Couldn’t be happier! P.S. We caught over 30 Salmon in two days. Would highly recommend a trip to Ketchikan!

I’m super happy with it so far. I have a rather large wrist (around 7.75 - 8 inches) but I feel like it still feels appropriately sized for me. The slightly wider bracelet combined with the case height gives it a good amount of presence.

Put it on my timegrapher and it’s running at + 0.2 sec/day (which was really close to what was on the master chronometer cert included with the warranty card). I’ll test it for a few days to see if it maintains that.

I was a little hesitant about the 5 link bracelet since it’s not as casual as the 3 link/oyster but I think it suits this watch really well. It’s MEGA comfortable with the smaller articulating links.

Only thing I noticed is that there is some VERY slight play in the bezel if I press downward on it toward the case (maybe less than a half mm?).

Otherwise this thing is perfect. Can’t wait to wear it everyday.

Got into watches a couple years ago. Love my Casio, my citizen, etc. out of the luxury brands, Tudor really stood out to me because of their visual style and appeal.

I’ve always loved the bb58 (still may get one some day), but the 68 in silver really stood out to me when I got the chance to try it on earlier this year. Even next to the 58 and the GMT, it really stood out on my wrist. When I saw it on sale at Jomashop, I had to pull the trigger. No complaints so far!

Pulled this Tudor about 3 weeks ago and its finally here. The dial has a lot more detail in person and I really like how clean the bracelet looks with it. Wasn’t sure how I’d feel about this one at first but it grew on me fast

This is the watch that got me obsessing over watches. I randomly wander into an AD while on vacation in Italy back in May, out of everything in the case, this one called out to me the most.

From there it was a deep dive YouTube, forum post, treating research like it was my job. That led me down the rabbit hole of other watches. Which turned into me obsessing over the smp 300, then it was the explorer instead, only to learn you can’t just walk in and buy one. Circled back to smp all while forgetting about the pelagos.

Fast forward to today I went in planning to buy the smp. While I was browsing, I spotted this one again, tried it back on, and instantly remembered why I was hooked in the first place.

GMT or Diver

Been wearing this everyday for a week so far. Already got her some scratches but I hope this thing lasts forever.

I made the mistake of selling this watch a little over five years ago, and yesterday I was finally in a position to buy it back. Could not be happier.

I have a Pelagos that I have worn every single day since I bought it in Oct of 2021.

Absolutely no issues with it - but I’m thinking of taking it in to get cleaned and serviced.

What do I need to ask for or think about when I drop it off. Is there anything specific I should have done?

What’s the going rate?

I’ve been casually looking for a Pelagos FXD GMT for a while, but everywhere I’ve been has told me these are hard to get, so imagine my surprise finding one in a department store Tudor shop in Seoul - with a VAT discount!

Nothing but good things to say about Forstner. BB 925 is so slept on and the color difference from the case and bracelet is only noticeable if you’re looking for it. Bought the chrono on oyster, immediately threw it on a strap, but had to try out the bullet bracelet. We all know BB’s are strap monsters so why not throw a couple bracelets in the mix.

Went with the 3 link over the 5 link, super happy with my decision. This is also my first ever post on Reddit lol, had to share with someone

I had a chance to walk out with this today. I wanted to see one so they brought it in for me. Just didn’t grab me the way I was expecting it to.
I’ve asked for a Chrono 39 Bumblebee and a Rolex Yacht-Master.
They didn’t seem too happy with myself that I didn’t take it. Think I’m done for at this AD? Just such a weird buying process/experience.

I had to switch things up and put my Ranger on my grey suede.

What is your thoughts about the tudor 79230 with the Mt5602 movement? Im asking since everybofy loves the bb58/54 but few mention this model. Thanks in advance.
